"Heavens" represent the religious powers. Trouble and loss of faith in the religious systems will be a sign of Christ’s presence. The Lord will shake to pieces every evil system which hinders, binds, oppresses or blinds the world until the systems are destroyed. True Christians will be harvested from the religious systems and sealed in their foreheads with a knowledge of the truth. [Rev. 7:1-4]

The ecclesiastical systems have been on fire and are being shaken over issues such as "gay rights," women’s ordination, and abortion over the past decade. Issues have arisen questioning the Vatican’s silence during the Holocaust, priests helping fascists escape, and hiding Nazi gold.

News reports of Catholic clergy sexually abusing children are increasing. Over 400 Roman Catholic priests in North America have been reported for molesting children since 1984. Estimates from a University of Chicago sociologist are that 2,000 to 4,000 priests might be guilty of sexual abuse of children or minors. Thousands of orphans have filed class-action suits charging they were physically and sexually abused in seven Catholic religious institutions in Quebec in the 1940s and 1950s. More than 4,000 people belonging to the Orphans of Duplessis plan to file class-action suits against the institutions.

Realizing their failure at world conversion, churches are modifying their doctrines. The Church of England and the Episcopal Church rejected the medieval image of fire-and-brimstone afterlife with a concept of "total non-being" at death. "Hell is not eternal torment...," according to the Church of England’s Doctrine Commission. Truth is shaking the erroneous creeds.

The religious systems are being arraigned before the world’s bar of judgment. Before the eyes of all, the ecclesiastical systems are being indited.
